Autorenporträt
Michele (Mike) Costantini began life in the beautiful town of Ari, in the Abruzzi region of central Italy. His idyllic, young lifestyle was shattered with the death of his young mother, and then the assault of World War II. Following the war, destiny led Mike to immigrate to Australia, where he gratefully grasped every opportunity, working hard to build a new life. He met his Australian wife Betty and together they raised a family on their farm north of Brisbane. From his boyhood Italian feste to writing his own songs and recording a CD in Australia when he was 93 years old, Mike has always loved music. He wrote his biography, 'Still Singing' Ancora Cantando, when he was 94 years old.
