Be assured that none of the Characters have lost any of their natural, unspoilt, humour. A young couple enjoy a charming romance culminating in a delightful white wedding which enhances the 1968 Christmas Eve celebrations with some amazing repercussions. Crown Green Bowling becomes 'International' when a visit is made to the Isle of Man. Perhaps Readers might agree with R.T. Cain that many of these down-to-earth people featured could be more acurately described as 'Still Swaying'. They would not even comprehend the meaning of 'The Swinging Sixties'.
