Lydia Chais wrote Stolen Virtue, A Child Bride, in the hopes that parents be made aware of the grooming tactics employed against innocent children by unscrupulous persons. She is an historian and holds a masters degree in history. She has taught English skills to foreign students and has raised her son, who is also a writer, as a single mother. The book is not meant to offend, but to inform.
