Kirit T. Patel is a retired physicist with a doctorate from the Department of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering, School of Medicine, at University College London. Many years as a physicist has developed a keen interest in the blurring lines between reality and magic in him. Now he writes stories mostly for his grandchildren to ignite their imaginations. Kirit lives in London having immigrated from Africa, where he played cricket at an international level. He has travelled extensively over the years.
