Have you ever hunted with a bow or been hunted by a mountain lion? Have you ever seen a bear face to face standing on its hind legs protecting her cub behind her? Do you know the value of a smile or a prayer offering? Can you make yourself do what has to be done, or show kindness to those who may not like you? Most importantly, do you know the value of truth and of your own story; for your story is all that you will truly ever own.

Autorenporträt
When I became a father, I also became a storyteller, and a lot of my stories were based upon my personal life experiences. Some were told or put down on paper to remind me of some important lesson I had learned.Above all I loved life, was grateful for my life, and thought life should be an adventure. Nature, family, and adventure kept childhood and adult peer pressure out of my life. I never felt it. But I always said I was born two hundred years too late. Although I am not a Native American, I was one with them in spirit. As a boy and a man, I was, and am, often in a breech cloth and a pair of moccasins in some remote place. It just seemed natural to tell my stories in a setting that was wild and free.
