Autorenporträt
Jivan grew up in the Midwest. He studied both literature and philosophy at college, and after graduation, he relocated to the West with his trusty Honda and cat, Joplin. After several years, he moved to Europe with little more than a suitcase and a pen. He based himself primarily out of Prague and Budapest, and he set to work on completing his first book of short stories. He also began annual pilgrimages to India. He currently resides back in the Midwest, where he continues to write poetry and essays and shares his work with friends over wine or coffee, ever inspiring others to learn, grow, and create.
