In addition to a long teaching career, she has extensively exhibited her artwork to critical acclaim, and she wrote for Arts Magazine. Her book Tenth Street Days-The Co-ops of the 50s was cited in the New York Times as the impetus for a major art exhibit at NYU's Grey Art Gallery, Inventing Downtown, which ran from January to March, 2017.
