Jelena CvoroviC (PhD Anthropology, ASU, 2001) is Principal Research Fellow at the Institute of Ethnography, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Her doctoral degree is in cultural anthropology and she has published widely on storytelling, maternal and child health, and early marriages among European Roma. She is the author of Roast Chicken and Other Gypsy Stories (2010) and co-author with Dr Kathryn Coe of Storytelling around the World: Folktales, Narrative Rituals and Oral Traditions (Bloomsbury, 2022).
