Book synopsis: The poems are all stories about life; but an effort has been made to give an opposite viewpoint, for example: how might animals think about their lives; how might inanimate objects view the world. Poems have been included that look at past and current situations and problems occurring in the world, both in a serious and humorous vein. Also, many of the poems are centered on the interactions between people, and nature, and the heartbreak of loss in love or death. Autobiography: Heather Dale Killeen, was born and grew up in the small, farming town of High Prairie in Northern Alberta. Many evenings were spent listening and reading the poetry of Robert Service which influenced her own style of each poem telling a story. The poems spread across a wide spectrum of emotion and ideas. This book of poetry is Heather's first venture into the world of writing.
