Peter Bell has written articles and stories for All Hallows, The Ghosts & Scholars M. R. James Newsletter, Wormwood, Faunus, and Supernatural Tales; his work has also been published by Ash-Tree Press, Gray Friar Press, Side Real Press, The Scarecrow Press, and Hippocampus Press. Four collections of his stories have been published by Sarob Press: A Certain Slant of Light, Phantasms, Revenants & Maledictions, and Sacred & Profane; as well as a novella for The Pale Illuminations. Zagava Press have published The Light Inaccessible, reflections on his wanderings in the Scottish Isles. He has written introductions for Swan River Press collections by Henry Mercer and Katharine Tynan, and contributed to the anthology series Uncertainties. Bell is a historian, a native of Liverpool, an inhabitant of York, and likes to wander the hidden places of Scotland and the North of England.
