Autorenporträt
Jacquelyn Phillips is a graduate of San Diego State University, having attended Sonoma State University for the first two years of her undergraduate English Program. She then continued her school journey in grad school, obtaining her Master of Fine Arts in Fiction writing in 2016 at San Diego State University. She was the editor-in-chief of literary journal, pacificREVIEW, the "Strangely Ever After" edition in 2014, had her short story, Cinderella, published in literary journal Aztec Literary Review in 2013, and then had her short story, Power Surge, published in pacificREVIEW in 2016. She was the editor and co-writer of Amazon Best-Seller, ORCAstration, with former killer whale trainer, Rich Phillips. She writes many dark fairy tales and hopes to create a novel out of them one day, but she currently is working on The Games We Play series, which she began writing in 2011. She lives in San Diego and believes that such a great city should be put on the map in literature. Her cat, Gatsby, is her loyal pet, named after one of her favorite characters in literary history. She currently bartends and waitresses at a brewery, continuing to pursue her dream of becoming the next great author, hoping to inspire those who read to follow their dreams and never be afraid to fall in love.
