J. M. Adovasio has overseen over four decades of archaeological research at the renowned Meadowcroft Rockshelter, one of the best dated pre-Clovis sites in the Western Hemisphere. Adovasio is author of over 250 journal articles and five books, including, with Olga Soffer, The Invisible Sex: Uncovering the True Roles of Women in Prehistory. He is currently a Research Associate of the Senator John Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh. David Pedler is Editor at the Lighting Research Center, School of Architecture, Rensselaer University and a Research Associate of the Senator John Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh.
