Traditional management systems based on economic and financial indicators performance analysis, which still predominate among the few management tools currently used in Portuguese companies reveal themselves less and less able to analyze and determine the assumptions that explain the success or failure of Portuguese companies. Still far from the effects of the crisis that has shaken, we face disunity in the European Union with the victory of Brexit UK unpredictable consequences in the near future. The contribution of our work is the development of the Balanced Scorecard model proposal applied to a Fishing Producers Cooperative, Sardine Port of Matosinhos, which has never been done to date.
