Jane is Director of Skills Evolution Ltd, and has over 20 years' experience in human resources, both within corporations and as an independent consultant. Her doctoral research focused on careers within organizations and since then she has researched various aspects of careers and HR, including international leadership, leadership development and more recently, HR business partners, which culminated in the publication of HR - The Business Partner in April 2005. She has carried out research both independently and in association with Roffey Park Institute and the IES.

In addition to research, her expertise includes work with HR business partners, career frameworks, competency development, assessment and development centres, management skills courses and coaching.
