Gordon R. Mitchell has been published in journals such as The Bulletin of Atomic Sciences; The Quarterly Journal of Speech; Science, Technology, and Human Values; and Argumentation and Advocacy. He is assistant professor of communication and director of debate at the University of Pittsburgh, where he has taught in the areas of public argument and rhetoric of science since 1995.
