The present work proposes to generate a strategic proposal for the improvement in the integral operational management applicable to the activity of feedlot. It takes as the axis for the construction of this proposal an Agricultural Company located in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina. For this purpose, an exploratory and descriptive study of the business unit was carried out. The value chain of the company was analyzed and the method for the Strategic Agricultural Administrative Process was taken as a framework for the proposal, which starts from the five basic functions of administration, such as planning, organization, integration, direction and control, allowing an approach to strategic management and decision making.Based on this proposal and through the exemplification, this book aims to provide a working methodology to arrive at the problem of strategic management of this type of agricultural companies. Which, have a series of particular characteristics that differentiatethem from any other type of companies or organizations, where optimization from the technical point of view does not always coincide with optimization from the economic point of view.
