The book has five chapters. Chapter one is about the introduction of the study; chapter two is review of literature on strategic planning in schools; chapter three is about research methods I employed in conducting the study; chapter four is about presentation and discussion of the findings of the study; and chapter five is summary and conclusions of the key findings of the study as well as recommendations. The book reveals stakeholders involved in strategic planning and implementation in public secondary schools in Tanzania, the substantive focus areas for strategic planning in the schools, factors supporting and factors hindering strategic planning and implementation in the schools. This book is useful for school heads or principals, school managers and administrators, educational officers, school board members, academicians and students in high learning institutions whose specialization is educational leadership and management, and other education stakeholders.
