The idea for this essay came to me when I saw the ravages of terrorism in Africa and the disarray into which the Covid-19 pandemic has plunged some African leaders. Covid-19 has reopened the debate on African debt, the economic and social vulnerability of Africans, the weakness of states, and has given impetus to alarmist and miserabilistic discourses on Africa. This book proposes solutions for a prosperous, sovereign, free and proud of its glorious history. It consists of two parts. The first part deals with the contribution of Africa and Africans to the development of humanity from its beginnings until today. It is subdivided into three chapters. In the first chapter, I talk about Africa as the cradle of humanity. I also develop the African worldview compared to the worldview of the three monotheisms and modern science. In the second chapter, I discuss the inescapable role of Africa as the cradle of civilization and the contribution of Africans and Afro-descendants in the emergence of the modern world.
