Besides the strategic partnerships in the profit-oriented sphere, the organizations from the nonprofit sector (NPOs/NGOs) also enjoy a wide range of advantages coming from a successful cooperative engagement in cause-related alliances. And although there are many articles and scientific studies revealing the drivers of nonprofit-business networking from a perspective of a profit-oriented organization, not so many of them focus on the challenges arising for the nonprofit management and on the balance of benefits experienced from these partnerships. Therefore, this book explores mainly the nonprofit point of view and focuses on the opportunities and challenges confronting the cross-sector network governance as well as the strategies to master the relevant problematic issues in cause-related alliances.
