Jeffrey Appolon, AKA Pain, was born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in Miami, Florida. Early in life, he discovered his passion for writing, and his desire to turn thoughts into stories was born. During the summer of 2005, after reading stories from countless classic storytellers such as Eric Jerome Dickey, Kwan, Carl Weber, Teri Woods, Vickie Stringer, Shannon Holmes, Nikki Turner, Wahida Clark, and Sista Souljah, Jeffrey set out on a quest to write his first novel.
