James Wild, PhD, is a performance consultant in professional sports and a lecturer in interdisciplinary applied sport science. Using a blend of physical preparation and biomechanics techniques with skill acquisition and motor learning principles, Wild has worked with coaches and athletes across a spectrum of abilities, including medal-winning athletes and teams at major international competitions. He has a PhD in the biomechanics and motor control of sprint acceleration, with a specific focus on team sport athletes, and has published research in several scientific journals.
