The parameters of the transmission line for low and high-temperature superconducting materials (YBCO at 90.9K, and Nb at 4.2 K) stripline were studied theoretically. This study was done with respect to miniaturization in terms of surface impedance, phase velocity, attenuation and characteristic impedance by using the theory of Mattis and Bardeen. The results were compared with the normal conductor (Cu) at low and high-temperatures (4.2and 295 K). Impedance mismatching as resulted from the reflection was also studied. The equation of picosecond pulse propagation transmission line was solved…mehr

The equation of picosecond pulse propagation transmission line was solved using advanced mathematics analytically. The Gaussian of the pulse strip transmission line of the given materials each of them alone was studied. It is shown that the YBCO acts more conductive than Nb, consequently, the latter acts more conductive than the normal conductor (Cu).
