Stroke is a devastating and disabling cerebrovascular disease with significant amount of residual deficit leading to multiple losses. Stroke has been defined as a rapidly developing signs of focal (or global) disturbance of cerebral function with symptoms lasting for >24 hours, or leading to death with no apparent cause other than vascular origin. In the western world, it is the third most common cause of morbidity and mortality. This study aimed to identify the important socio-economic, and environmental determinants of stroke data using separate and joint repeated measure and survival analysis model. In this study out of 205 stroke patients 95(46.34%) were female and 113(55.2%) were hypertensive. Thus, the aim of this study was to present joint model on longitudinal GCS measurement and time-to-death among stroke patients treated the levels of consciousness. Hospital based retrospective study was conducted among stroke patients attending level of consciousness after a brain injury between 2017 and 2020 at Saint Paulo's Hospital Millennium Medical College, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
