Jakob de Haan is Head of Research of DNB and professor of Political Economy at the University of Groningen. He is member of the editorial board of several journals and has been editor of the European Journal of Political Economy and President of the European Public Choice Society. Jante Parlevliet is head of the Economic Policy Department of De Nederlandsche Bank. Prior to joining DNB in 2011, she worked at the Social and Economic Council of the Netherlands and the OECD. She has published various articles on the political economy of structural reforms.
