This book employed relatively cheap, fast and environmentally friendly potential field methods to characterize the structural disposition and geothermal potential of a frontier basin. The book systematically outlined how hydrocarbon and geothermal resources in a basin, with the structures controlling them, could be investigated using geopotential field attributes and should show how evolutionary model of a basin could be synthesized using geophysical tools. The content of this book would help investors and government make well guided investment decisions and proof useful to professionals and academia or any interested individuals on application of cutting edge geophysical tools for basinal studies.
Autorenporträt
Dr. Oladele received B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Geology and Applied Geophysics respectively.He obtained his Ph.D Degree at University of Lagos in Applied Geophysics. Dr. Oladele currently Lectures at University of Lagos. He has authored publications in petroleum geosciences, engineering/environmental geophysics, geothermal and mineral studies.
