Given that there is a constant growth in companies, where Occupational Health and Safety is gaining importance as time goes by, due to the need to ensure the welfare of their employees. Standards that regulate OSH, require providing employees with optimal working conditions, where they feel safe and healthy, increasing productivity and competitiveness. The implementation of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OSHMS) generates great advantages such as: more effective decision making, improved strategic planning, more efficient allocation of resources, among others, which contribute to making the organisation more competitive, caring for its employees and complying with regulations. This article presents the structuring of an OSHMS in a company dedicated to the maintenance of conveyor belts located in Valle de Cauca, using the PHVA methodology (Plan, Do, Check, Act) where the structuring is focused on the Plan and Do (PH) and provide a specific guide for the company to perform the remaining stages (VA).
