Autorenporträt
Jan Hasbrouck, Ph.D., is a leading researcher, educational consultant, and author who works with schools in the U.S. and internationally. Dr. Hasbrouck worked as a reading specialist and coach for 15 years and later became a professor. Her research in reading fluency, academic assessment and interventions, and instructional coaching has been widely published. She is the author and coauthor of several books, curriculum materials, and assessment tools. She continues to collaborate with researchers on projects related to reading assessment and intervention. Daryl Michel, Ph.D., is the founder and innovator of Be A Change, LLC, and a lifelong educator who is passionate about engaging with others to learn, teach, and inspire while appreciating and advocating for voices and perspectives to be heard. Growing up in rural Iowa and moving to Texas to student teach was quite the leap. However, experience led to opportunity for Daryl as he went from being a classroom teacher in one school district to being nationally known as an instructional coach, area manager, and director to establishing international networks as a business owner. Each day Daryl does his very best to live by his business tagline of â oeMany Individuals. Infinite Possibilities.â He doesn'st aspire to be the change. He aspires to be a change by being present, listening, and noticing.
