The study looked into the predictors of fourth year students' performance in selected National High Schools of Nueva Ecija. A total of 400 respondents participated in the study with 100 respondents representing each school. Of these 100 students 50 were purposely selected from the top section and 50 from the lowest section. Survey questionnaire was used in gathering the needed data during the second semester of school year 2004-2005 using, the stratified sampling. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics namely: frequency counts, percentages, mean standard deviation and ranks. Pearson product moment correlation coefficient analysis was used to examine the relationship of the selected variables as personal home, school, peer, media and technology and student performance. Step wise multiple regressions analysis was used to determine whether the independent variables in the study predicted student performance. The step wise regression analysis of personal, home, school, peer, Media and Technology Factors on academic Performance revealed about 49.3% of variation in the GPA.
