In this first edition we have tried to demonstrate how different organ systems (Digestive system, respiratory system, circulatory system, urinary system, reproductive system, integumentary system, musculoskeletal system, endocrine system, lymphatic system, nervous system, and haemopoitic) respond to changes in stress and diseases conditions. For this purpose again we have used examples of specific veterinary pathology without trying to give a survey of all the different diseases possible. To make this clearer the title of this edition has been extended with 'Systemic Veterinary Pathology'. As this students' book is also intended to be used by instructors, we have added comprehensive general introductions to the different subtitles and descriptive photos and some figures for elaboration.
