Student performance in vocational education subjects has to do with their interest. In view of this, a research which focused on the evaluation of the relationship between student interest and their performance in Vocational Education subjects was conducted. Students of Michael Otedola College of Primary Education were used as case study. The research pointed out some observable factors that may be affecting students' interest for learning Vocational Education subjects and its implication on their performance in the subjects. The study adopted a survey research work and a questionnaire which was used to elicit information. The research questions and hypothesis formulated were analyzed using chi-square statistical analysis tool. The study concluded that there are many factors which influenced students' interest and their performance in Vocational Education subjects. However, it was revealed that gender had nothing to do with students' interest as well as their performance in Vocational Education subjects.
