Eve Tavor Bannet is the George Lynn Cross Professor Emeritus of English at the University of Oklahoma. She is the author of Eighteenth-Century Manners of Reading: Print Culture and Popular Instruction in the Anglophone Atlantic World and Transatlantic Stories and the History of Reading, 1720-1810: Migrant Fictions. Roxann Wheeleris an associate professor of English at The Ohio State University. She is the author of The Complexion of Race: Categories of Difference in Eighteenth-Century British Culture.
