These studies dealt with description and analysis to some phenomenon related to labor migration in Middle East and North Africa region such as labor migration, brain drain, impact of migrant s remittances in the development of origin, and illegal migration from the region to west of Europe. In addition the possibility of intra-regional migration among the countries of the region in absorbing some sophisticated socioeconomic phenomena such as unemployment was addressed.

Khaled Hassan is a demographer and statistical expert. He has Ph.D. in Economic Management, and M. Phil. in Demography. He has a long experience in analyzing and evaluating of population, economic, medical projects, surveys design, and data analysis. He published and presented numerous articles in many international organizations and conferences.
