John Churton Collins (18481908) was an English literary critic. In 1872 he graduated from Balliol College, Oxford, and embarked on a literary career, working as a journalist, essayist, and lecturer. He is the author of several books, including Essays and Studies (1895), Essays in Poetry and Criticism (1905), as well as volumes on Rousseau and Voltaire.
