An interview with American artist James Turrell recorded at Michael Hue William in June 1996 in which he discusses in depth his work with light and continuing environmental projects such as The Roden Crater. It includes personal recollections of early sculptures made at the Mendota Hotel, Ocean Park, Los Angeles - the 'Shallow Space Constructions', and the recent controversial piece 'Soft Cell', modules which radiate the receptor with pure colour.
