After the pretreatment of the steel plant effluent, both the adopted treatment techniques were carried out. Hence the comparative study between the two leguminous plants, Tamarindus indica and the Vigna radiata reduced the nitrates to an extent and the immobilization step lead to the maximum extent of denitrification.
