The aim of this study is concerned on the change of chemical and physical properties of Native Starch (like its thermal stability and its hydrophilicity) through the photo-induced graft copolymerization reactions of some vinyl monomers using various types of redox initiators in presence of visible light at room temperature in order to improve chemical and physical properties of the pure native starch in order to increase its industrial use. Also, water and saline retention and chemical resistance towards acids and bases were studied.
