The objectives of the study and the parameters selected for the investigation to invitro study of inactivation of WSSV by various physical and chemical disinfectants infectivity on freshwater model (P.hydrodomus) and marine model (P.indicus). Preliminary screening of different solvents (water, methanol, ethanol, ethyl acetate, benzene, diethyl ether, chloroform and petroleum ether) of 20 indegenous plant extracts and 10 seaweeds against WSSV infectivity on freshwater model (P.hydrodomus) and marine model (P.monodon). Isolation and purification of active crude aquoues extract using column chromatography and bioassay test of different fractions of the plant extract on freshwater model (P.hydrodomus) and marine model (P.monodon) and subjectivity of pure compounds to UV, IR, 1H, 13C NMR and Mass spectral analysis for extracts described. The conformation inactivation anti WSSV pure compound by bioassay studies, histopathological observation, PCR, RT-PCR and Westenblot techniques in detecting the different organs of WSSV-infected and plant compound treated P.monodon.
