In the present study hydro-alcoholic extract was prepaired from the leaves of Aegle marmelosby using soxhlet apparatus. Then the extract was subjected to study the presence of secondary metabolite such as alkaloid, carbohydred, torpinoid, steroid, flavonoid, tannin, saponine from this phytochemical study the presence of torpinoid, alkaloid, tannins. We observed. Finally the extract was screened for the presence of Anti-microbial activity against B.S at different concentrations. DMSO was use as control and tetracycline was taken as standard drug. The antimicrobial study was carried out from lower to higher concentration i.e 10µg/ml to 40µg/ml concentration and the zone of inhibition was observed. In case of 40µg/ml concentration, it shows the highest zone of inhibition. Thus it was concluded the leaves of Aegle marmoles has anti-microbial activity which are effective against bacterial strain.
