Dr. Sapkota ist im ländlichen Nepal geboren und aufgewachsen und hat seine Ausbildung in Nepal, Indien und den USA absolviert. Er war als Arzt in Nepal und auf den Malediven tätig und bietet seine Dienste weiterhin einer breiten Bevölkerung an. Seine außerschulischen Interessen reichen von Sport über Musik bis hin zu Trekkingtouren in den majestätischen Bergen Nepals.
