Known worldwide for its grain production, beyond its agricultural frontiers, Brazil must expand its grain storage units, allowing for greater marketing power for agricultural products. The main objective of this work is to list the negative environmental impacts generated in the operations cycle of grain storage units and suggest mitigating measures for each impact found. Through a literature review, each stage was analyzed and studied, generating individual flowcharts showing the main negative impacts. There is currently a lack of information in the literature on the impacts generated in the cycle of grain storage operations. This paper lists the main negative environmental impacts through individual flowcharts for each stage, and suggests mitigating measures that are economically viable.
