In order to study the reaction of maize hybrids to salinity condition,an experimental was conducted at experimental field station of Agricultural and Natural Resource Research center of Qom province under Two conditions (normal and salinity stress )during the cropping season of 2006-2007.Experimental design was a randomized complete block with three replications.The hybrids were planted Two rows 6 m length, (75cm spread) containg 3 seeds/hill,60 hills (20 cm spased) in each row.After emergence in 3 to 5 leaf stage the plant density were adjusted to 60 plants per row.Trait Ear length, Kernels/row,Rows/ear,Ear weight, Dry leaf no, Leaf no,Stem diameter, Plant height,Ear leaf length,Ear leaf width,Flag leaf length,Flag leaf width,Peduncle-out-in,Tassel,1000Kernel weight,Kernel depth,Grain yield, HI in group hybrids evaluat and in seprate condition.Data analysis:1-Analysis of variance2-Comparisons mean3-Study correlation analysis between characters in maize hybrids4-Stepwise regression for corn grain yield5-Corn yield correlation causality analysis with remain characters in stepwise hybrid6-Principal component analysis7-Cluster analysis8-determine the salinity tolerance indices.
