The first years of life in the human being constitute a truly critical period, therefore it is essential to know the psychomotor development of children to identify their abilities in the different areas of development and thus provide timely intervention according to the individual needs of each child. It was decided to carry out a research study in a rural community belonging to Cuenca-Ecuador, through the application of the ASQ-3 Ages and Stages Questionnaire, which evaluates child development through a survey applied to parents or caregivers.
