Mary Kate Prokopius is a first-year graduate student at the University of Akron who is studying to become a licensed speech-language pathologist. She and her advisor, Dr. Scott Palasik, hope that other professionals will delve further into determining the specifics of these and other disorders in order to better help those who suffer from them.
