This book begins by explaining the term and concepts of international relations with the goal of answering questions about the viability of pursuing foreign relations for sub-national governments, diplomacy, and paradiplomacy. It then, specifically, illustrates the case of Kurdistan region of Iraq, and how Kurdistan Region practices its foreign relations with its neighboring states and other countries all over the world. Hogr Tarkhani obtained his Master degree in International Studies with the highest distinction at Valparaiso University in the United States. Hogr won the TOFIQ (Together for Iraq) award of excellency and became one of the best Iraqi students in the U.S. He is Currently working at Garmian University's Office of International Academic Relations.
