Hogr Tarkhani obtained his Master degree in International Studies with the highest distinction at Valparaiso University in the United States. Hogr won the TOFIQ (Together for Iraq) award of excellency and became one of the best Iraqi students in the U.S. He is Currently working at Garmian University's Office of International Academic Relations.
