Since ancient times the subject of intoxications has been considered as fortuitous issues, but with experience and the advance of knowledge man has been learning the difference between intoxication and poisoning. But it is thanks to technological progress and the industrial revolution that new chemicals were introduced to increase food production to meet the great world demand, unfortunately, in contrast, the consequences of these actions were also unknown. It is due to these procedures that globally there are several unfortunate examples of mishandling of these substances, with the unfortunate loss of living beings. The food toxicology course plan aims to instill in students not only awareness, but also analysis and interpretation and proposal of solutions to the current problems, through the appropriate use of various learning strategies.
