Patrick Madden is a professor at Brigham Young University. He is the author of Disparates: Essays (Nebraska, 2020) and Quotidiana: Essays (Nebraska, 2014), and coeditor, with David Lazar, of After Montaigne: Contemporary Essayists Cover the Essays.
