Relevance of the work is connected with increasing importance of the issues, which concern substantiation of design regimes of reservoirs serving water management complexes.With the development of computer technologies, simulation water management models became more widespread, which made it possible to analyze in a short time a huge number of options and choose the most acceptable among them. Along with simulation modeling, optimization methods were improved. However, in terms of modeling water management systems, they should be considered as auxiliary ones. Versions of universal water-management models were developed, but their use is limited by complexity of adaptation of real WMC to the generalized algorithm. In particular, this applies to irrigation systems with non-standard structure. With regard to the Aleya WMC, the work had the practical purpose of assessing water availability in the basin containing a large industrial complex. Gilyevo reservoir in Gilyevo village is a guarantor of water consumption and completely determines water situation up to the mouth section. The basin water availability study should be carried out as a part of the Ob basin KIHE Scheme.
