Amanda Y Callender hails from Newark, New Jersey and currently resides in Lincoln Park, New Jersey. Amanda works in the Technical Field and is the creative force and developer behind the popular blog www.ACallenderGirl.com. She loves to write and read, especially a good book that "adds to the soul's progression". Amanda's unique personal bouts with loss and grief has led her to this path of sharing her journey. Her experiences in overcoming the difficulties associated with continuing life after death and loss, are transformational. The humble stature of her experiences gives holistic and familiar remedies. The tools and practices she presents in the book Sugar in my Grits provide hope, help, and practicality for desperate situations. When Amanda is not working or writing she can be heard co-hosting her podcast "Have Your Own Orgasm" or posting her thoughts on www.ACallenderGirl.com. She enjoys spending time with her wife Kayla, son Jax and niece Kimani, Dr Jenkins is a nationally recognized author and motivational speaker. He is the co-author of three publications, two of which were New York Times Bestsellers. When he's not traveling the world giving speeches he serves as Assistant Dean of the Office of Access, Equity, and Inclusion for the Columbia College of Dental Medicine while teaching 3rd year dental students. He is also co-founder of The Three Doctors Foundation which allows him to give back to his community. Dr. Jenkins is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, including a congressional record from the United States Congress.
