K+ is the major catonic inorganic nutrient and due to exhaustiveness of sugarcane crop towards potassium, appreciable amount of available potassium must be supplied to the plant.MOP is better than other potash fertilizers because of the fact that it is cheap and higher K2O content.Organic manure amendments are known for improving soil properties and increase in yield of plants.
