Suicide is a global phenomenon which is affecting all ages of life. Students are the worst victims of it. Here in Bangladesh suicide rates and tendency to committing suicide is alarmingly increasing day by day. In this backdrop, this study is an attempt to examine suicide and its impact on students in Bangladesh. For conducting this study, the researchers have taken help from various secondary sources. The researchers first identified 23 articles from Google Scholar, Academia.edu, JSTOR, Research Gate and Google Browser and then they sorted out 14 most relevant articles on the topic. Then the researchers did systematic analysis where 10 reported suicidal cases were identified and those were analyzed in light of Durkheim¿s sociological analysis of Suicide. The study then reveals that most of the suicide case amongst students in Bangladesh are mainly caused by some major factors such as, stress, mental illness, unemployment, relational problems, academic pressures as well as poor educational systems. As a result, it affects those victimized students mostly and simultaneously this brings disasters for their parents too.
